Piping prefabrication
An essential element of our multidisciplinary-oriented strategy relies upon our industrial piping capabilities, from the conception to the completion and of entire industrial piping system.
Industrial construction includes a wide range of projects (refineries and power plants among others). These types of constructions involve intensive piping, which connects a variety of systems and equipment. Due to compressed schedules and limited spaces on site, industrial construction projects heavily rely upon piping prefabrication work. More precisely, pipe spools are fabricated from a number of raw pipes and pipe fittings in dedicated prefabrication workshops, which represent a proven means for reducing field installation costs while providing the highest product quality.
Altrad Services owns several installations for prefabrication activities. More specifically, we profit from a state-of-the-art prefabrication workshop with a covered area of 21.600 m², located in Leipzig. Designed in accordance with the optimum production process workflow, it can reach 10.000 working hours a week (in two working shifts). This enables Altrad Services to carry out projects in a flexible and competitive manner.
